Who doesn't love a little Piggy?

Hello Dear Readers,

In my last post, I mentioned that my Zodiac Animal was a Boar. Of course, that is another name for Pig. Since Pig usually has a negative connotation, I just wish to share with you that they are really lovable animals.

Despite the pigs reputation as being "dirty," they are one of the most domestic when it comes to keeping their "nests" clean. And they are down right cute!
Don't you think? Look at that little smile!

So, again, I'm calling my Bunnies, and Billy Goats!

See previous post below!

Thank You!

Love Ya! Oink, Oink!

How does Chinese Zodiac Mating work?

Hello Reader!

Today I'm going to give you an example of how Chinese Zodiac Mating actually works for matching one with their potential soulmate.

I will use myself as an example. I was born March 29, 1959; therefore my Chinese Zodiac sign is a Boar, with the Element Earth.

Each Zodiac animal has only two other animals with whom they are best compatible. So I check my chart to see which two Zodiac animals are my best match. Then I look at the chart of years for those animals. I choose the years and of those animals closest to my birth year.

A Boar is most compatible with a Sheep or Rabbit. So we can see on the chart below, that the Rabbits born 1951 or 1963, would be good matches for me.

The Sheep born 1955, is also a good match for me.

So that's it! Calling in Available Rabbits born in '51 or '63/Sheep born in '55!

This is a repost of an article I wrote April 2012, the year the transformation began.
How many goats are there in the Zodiac? Most of us only think of one - Capricorn, the goat. However there are two. The Chinese Zodiac has a goat, as well as many others of God's creatures.

Like traditional astrology, there are twelve animals in Chinese astrology symbolizing different personality types. However, other than the goat, the animals are not the same, and they have different meanings.

Chinese astrology is also different, in that it goes according to the year you are born, and not the month.
Similar to traditional astrology, however, Chinese Zodiac is divided up into elements. However, the elements are not all the same the Chinese have one more element.

Chinese Zodiac Elements are: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. Each of the 12 animals have 5 elements, so there are actually 5 other goats, besides the traditional one we know as Capricorn.

These elements are associated with the 5 major planets Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn, respectively. The combinations presented by these 5 elements and the 12 animals actually combine to create a 60-year cycle.

Chinese astrology has existed for over 2000 years, and many have relied on it for soulmate searching.

Below is a brief description of each of the Chinese Zodiac animals. Following that is a chart to finding your sign and element.
